Word around the blogosphere for the past few weeks has been that Cobble Hillbillies Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen will not be featured on the upcoming season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City. [van Kempen says that's not true. Full response here.] I’ve begun to believe the rumors, because the notorious couple is noticeably absent from previews for the new season of the show, which begins in March. I’m sure they’ll be missed.
PopCrunch: Tattling tipters claim producers dumped the couple after refusing to do any more business with the overbearing Simon, who flew into full Bitch Mode when Bravo slammed the entire cast with a hefty reduction in pay. In addition, the network was concerned by the fact that the couple never quite seemed to resonate with viewers.

The rumors are referring to Season 4, which I read won’t be picked up until after Season 3

Right, the rumors are for Season 4, not Season 3 which has already filmed and is airing in March. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are dumped for Season 4 (if another season is picked up). They are by far the least interesting and most annoying people on reality TV. They are both pathetic losers. It still shocks me that Simon spends so much time hanging with the “girls” and being one of the girls. Get a life man! They are simply low-grade social climbers who are interesting in their heads only.
