The annual Santacon is being held nationwide today and the NYC version features 2 origination points in Brooklyn. For those ready to rock in their Santa gear (our publisher Homer Fink is “Santa Sinatra” and his aide de camp is “Guantanamo Santa”) should meet at either Warsaw in Williamsburg (261 Driggs Avenue) or Franklin Park (618 St. Johns Place) in Crown Heights which is where you’ll find the Brooklyn Bugle contingent. Meetup is at 10am sharp. The secret route for the day will be revealed to the army of Santas at that time.
Participants in the fest are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the NYC Food Bank. The five Santacon “tribes” will reportedly converge in Manhattan at some point today.
