ALERT: Trains not running
Something is wrong with the trains at the moment, so your best bet is to figure out an alternate route to work if you plan on leaving any time around now. No trains have come into the Carroll Street Station for quite a while now.

And.. what’s the word relayed on those lightning PA systems that cost, what? $100 million every 5 years from their/our capital budget?… I guess we’re not really supposed to know why the F train doesn’t show — and then again, there’s really not many station agents to speak into the mic, even if there was one.

Word on Gothamist is that someone committed suicide earlier by jumping in front of a train at 7th Avenue.
