There’s a bit of food news and happenings to report today:
- According to the New York Times, a branch of Court Street’s The Nut Box is open at Chelsea Market (75 Ninth Avenue).
- Frankies 457 will host a four-course wine dinner featuring wine from various producers on November 10 at 6:30 pm, $75 including tax and tip (cash only), 718-330-0963.
- Stinky Bklyn’s Cheese 101: Join the folks from Stinky for a fun and informative afternoon history of cheese tasting. Learn about the history of cheese making, the differences in milk types, fromage styles, and cheesy lore. The event will take place on Saturday, November 21, at 1pm at The JakeWalk (282 Smith Street), $25, call 718-522-7425 to reserve.
