Brooklyn Beep Marty Markowitz, Congresswoman Nydia Velaquez and the LICH Medical Staff will hold a rally today at 1pm to ask for immediate action in fixing the crisis at Long Island College Hospital. The rally will be held on Hicks Street between Atlantic and Pacific. The public is invited.

Late to the party, but we used the LICH emergency room for the first time last week, and it was as pleasant of an experience as you could expect. Polite registration folks, friendly and competent doctors, clean facilities. I’d hate to lose this place.
