New French restaurant to open in old Patois space

Jean-Jacques Bernat, owner and executive chef of Smith Street’s Provence en Boite, will open La Petite Provence in the old Patois space at 255 Smith Street, according to the New York Times restaurant preview issue. The new restaurant will emphasize the cuisine of Nice and is slated to open in late September.
