There isn’t much information on the Smith Street festival that will be going on this Sunday from 11am-6pm this Sunday, June 28, but Pardon Me For Asking seems to have the scoop: there will be music, entertainment, art, and food vendors from Bergen Street to Union Street. The Times has a listing for the 3rd annual Stinky cheese eating contest:
The third annual cheese-eating contest sponsored by Stinky Bklyn, the JakeWalk and Smith & Vine will be held on June 28 at 2 p.m. at 268 Smith Street between Sackett and Degraw Streets, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. The event is part of a street fair; before and after the contest, music, food and wine will be available, along with activities for children. To take part in the contest: (718) 522-7425 until June 26.

Shameless plug, I will be there across from Bar Great Harry selling our shop’s t-shirt line, comics and prints. This fair is a few rungs above the average street fair, lots of local businesses represent.
