Cafe Peddlar UPDATE ON NAME: Coffee Peddlar ”opened” today in the former space of Margaret Palca bakes, serving only coffee (of the Stumptown variety).
While the opening date circulating in the press is today, it’s really only the soft opening, as much work is still being done both on the inside and outside of the cafe, with one (if not both- I can’t really tell them apart) of the Franks on hand throughout the day. The official opening is scheduled for Friday.
Stopped by yesterday – they are still getting sorted out (they didn’t have any quarters for change so my $1.50 coffee was $1.00 – thanks!).
Yesterday’s coffee of the day was Costa Rica – SERIOUSLY delicious and I’m a coffee snob – I was surprised by how good it was.
I could suggest lots of improvements and additions!! But I doubt they need my input – haha – the Frank’s seem to be doing just fine.
