Brooklyn Eagle: Parents Protest…: The District 15 CEC (Community Education Council) says that budget cuts in their district alone add up to $1.7 million. Parents and teachers at P.S. 29 in Cobble Hill, worried about the loss of after school programs, professional development or staff, planned an emergency meeting Tuesday evening to discuss what the cuts will mean to their students.
