Seems like The New York Times is all about Brooklyn cuisine this week, as Frank Bruni provides commentary on a slide show of the restaurant. Bruni calls the pecan pie sundae that I fell in love with a month ago,”one of the restaurant’s great dishes.” Check out the slide show for the picture. It’s amazingness can hardly be captured in a photo, though. I highly suggest you try it for yourself. Bruni’s full review is here, with more praise for the pecan pie sundae throughout.

Buttermilk Channel is superb. Their duck meatloaf is divine, and everything else is nicely done, including their wines, beer, cocktails. Highly recommended.
I thought that the Bruni review damned them a bit with faint praise.
