Brooklyn Tattoo Moving to Smith Street
Native Cobble Hillbilly Adam Suerte tells CHB exclusively that his wildly successful Brooklyn Tattoo shop will be moving out of its Atlantic Avenue location in Brooklyn Heights and into cozy new digs at 99 Smith Street, across the street from next to the NEW St. Claire Diner.
Adam and his partner Willie will open for business on April 10th at the new spot. Save April 24th for a “huge event” at Southpaw celebrating Brooklyn Tattoo’s move. It will feature both of Willie’s bands — Michael Pitt’s Pagoda and Activator. Other guests to be announced soon.

Damn It! Why does all the cool stuff have to be on Smith St? I liked having the Tattoo shop on Atlantic. Was hoping Atlantic would turn into the next Smith St. Seems like it is. At least it’s pretty much still on Atlantic, just not in the heights. Probably is a better location for them for now. I hope something good opens up in place of Magnetic Field and Brooklyn Tattoo.

And I wanted to get my armband done in the Heights. Oh well, they are worth the extra three block walk. At least we still have Montero’s—my uncle remembers it from the war!!!!

What a nice lower back design! Everyone seem to go tribal with those but that’s just unique and beautiful. And it actually means something! Tribal tattoos are usually just random scribblings which is why I’m not too keen on them. A tattoo should have some kind of symbolism imo.
